Accountant

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage our accounting responsibilities independently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce, be proficient in handling multiple state GSTs, manage product imports, and be adept with Busy software.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal tax regulations, including managing multiple state GSTs.
- Oversee the import of products and manage related financial transactions.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations and support the external audit process.
- Utilize Busy software for all accounting functions and maintain accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Coordinate and direct the budget preparation and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
