MICE Operations Role (8-15 yrs)

Role Overview:

- This role will be a key contributor towards the conversion of business in MICE while collaborating with various departments to increase the productivity and efficiencies.

- This management cadre role will be responsible to increase the profit margin by redefining the existing line of products. This role will be responsible to create and drive people and process to achieve department objectives.

Purpose of Role:

1. Introduce/Guide the Procurement team to tie up with set of new panels of Supplier (Hotels/DMCs/Attractions/Event Companies etc.) to source quotes

2. Research and develop innovative products then training the frontline on the same

3. Set guidelines and TATs for the team to secure services and client requirements

4. Ensure the team is aligned and assist sales to cater to customer requirements with optimum solutions and in timely manner

5. Continuous focus to be maintained on enhancing margins (on files being operated) post sales

6. Ensure systems updates are consistent and updated with all the relevant costs

7. Encourage team to have continuous communication with branches and suppliers to ensure the Rooming list/Menus/Venue confirmations and Logistics activities are carried out smoothly

8. Ensure that the Tour Manager allotment activities are done keeping product quality in mind and with utmost fairness

9. Encourage team to take ownership to ensure that on-ground commitments from Suppliers/Hotel and Clients are met

10. Payments to suppliers to be monitored and processed

11. Ensure that file closures are done online and within time

12. Continuous feedback to/from the supply chain to enhance quality of output

13. Ensure profitability and customer satisfaction on all files

14. Ensure that the team is exposed to destination trainings to enhance their knowledge and become universally skilled to manage all destinations

15. GST reconciliation on quarterly basis as applicable for the role

16. Software training and knowledge sharing on regular basis

17. To maintain cordial relations with all Embassies, VFS, Vendors & Tourism boards as applicable for the role

18. Closely monitor internal team coordination - visa, airline, FX, accounts, sales and control the dashboard everyday as applicable for the role
