Solifi - DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline (3-5 yrs)

We are a global DevOps team focusing on delivering agreed upon technical and business requirements in support of our growing SaaS solution.

About the Position :

As a DevOps Engineer at Solifi, you are expected to maintain, automate, manage, and deploy cloud-based solutions to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of those solutions.

Responsibilities and Deliverables :

- Understand the fundamentals of DevOps engineering and be fully proficient with DevOps terminologies, concepts, benefits, and deployment options to meet business requirements.

- Provide support to internal delivery teams who use the CI/CD pipelines.

- Perform the bundling of product releases and distribution.

- Write scripts which automate repetitive tasks.

- Maintain and support internal product environments.

- Ensure pipelines are not creating bottlenecks for rapid deployment of code.

- Identify and fix bugs which appear within DevOps pipeline-related code, tools, and container platforms.

- Deliver change requests from customers rapidly and effectively by adding new (and updating existing)
features.

- System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.

- Troubleshoot Kubernetes issues.

- Maintain and support Docker create images, containers, swarms, volumes, and networks; define Docker security client bundles and client-server authentication.

- Contribute to the configuration, deployment, and documentation of client solutions.

- Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.

- Suggest architecture improvements and recommending process improvements.

- Manage and maintain existing pipeline infrastructure.

Min Exp : 3+ Years

About You :

- Have a BS or BA in a related discipline or equivalent experience.

- Have 3-6 years of experience in a software development role.

- Have 2-3 years of working experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

- Have 2-3 years of DevOps working experience.

- Have excellent communication skills.

- Have working experience of Route53, ALB, NLBs, ASG, and NGINX.

- Have working experience building CI/CD pipelines.

- Have working experience with bundling and deploying software solutions.

- Have 1-2 years of working experience with IAC tools and programming languages (Terraform, Python, Java, EKS etc.).

- Have working experience with a version control system (preferably Gitlab).

- Have working knowledge of popular DevOps tools (preferably Gitlab CI/CD).

- Have working knowledge of container runtime and platforms (preferably Docker, K8).

- Experience with Chef or Ansible for automating configuration management.

- SaaS delivery experience.

- Experience in Linux / UNIX and/or Windows administration.

- Have hands-on experience with the DevOps lifecycle.
