This expansion across verticals - some in early-stage or transformation phases - has made it essential to bring in seasoned operational leadership with experience in scaling startups or driving business turnarounds.
The President / COO role is a critical leadership position designed to ensure that Spartek's ambitious vision is delivered through disciplined operations, strong team building, and end-to-end business coordination.
Role Overview:
- We are looking for a seasoned leader to take on the role of President / COO, responsible for overseeing and driving the day-to-day operations of the group across all business verticals. The individual will work closely with the Chairman and internal leadership teams to translate strategic plans into operational success, while also engaging with external stakeholders to support growth initiatives, alliances, and key business relationships.
- This is a pivotal role that requires a hands-on operations expert who can manage complexity, lead large teams, and instill strong execution discipline across departments.
- Experience in scaling startups or driving business turnarounds will be highly valued in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day business operations across multiple units and geographies
- Ensure implementation of the company's strategic roadmap, focusing on timely execution
- Drive operational transformation in early-stage or underperforming business units to align with growth goals.
- Lead P&L management, financial performance tracking, budgeting, and compliance
- Build, mentor, and develop strong second-line leadership and functional teams
- Foster a high-performance, process-driven, and collaborative culture
- Interact with external stakeholders including business partners, JV allies, vendors, legal and financial institutions
- Ensure smooth interdepartmental coordination and implementation of SOPs
- Represent the company in business meetings, reviews, and external engagements
- Review major legal, financial, and commercial agreements before finalization
- Act as the senior-most operational authority under the MD for all business divisions
Candidate Profile:
- 20-25 years of senior management experience across operations, P&L, execution, and team leadership
- Proven experience in strategy execution, not just planning
- Strong understanding of finance, budgeting, cost control, and business metrics
- Prior experience at CXO/COO/CEO/President level preferred
- Experience in startup environments or in turning around underperforming businesses will be considered a strong advantage
- Exposure to sectors like construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, real estate, or industrial services is a strong advantage
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of managing internal teams and external partners alike
- Retired professionals who wish to take on a meaningful and high-impact role are encouraged to apply
