About The Company:
APV Resources/Unifort is setting up a INR 78 crore project with manufacturing plant around Tirupati, which is in advanced stages of implementation and is expected to commence production in a few months with state of the art equipments from UK & collaboration with leading world players in this sector to produce ceramic & porcelain mugs and tableware products. The company plans to cater to both Domestic and export markets.
We are looking for hands on business manager/Profit Centre Head of 12-15 years plus experience with expertise in Sales& marketing and P&L management, Operations including manufacturing/outsourcing, to lead & build a young team for the company.
Candidates should preferably be an Engineer / MBA, currently holding positions at senior/ general management level with exposure to and responsibility for P&L of companies with good management practices.
The position demands high leadership qualities, matured decision-making, developing exports and Indian markets for both manufactured and outsourced products. The candidate will be required to complete the project implementation of the production which is at advanced stages and launch the products on Offline channels and Online through own and partner eCommerce channels.
The COO will initiate, develop and implement, in conjunction with the Board and Owners, strategies and processes which will achieve long-term sustainable playing and commercial success for the business.
Lead and direct the following functions and/or business units: Operations, Business Development, Technical & Program Planning and Marketing & Communication.
Experience in early stage start-ups, Launching new products, setting up sales channels will be an added advantage. Handling Pan India Business, multiple regions in earlier assignments is desirable though not essential. Additional experience in ceramic, Kitchenware, tableware, FMCG, FMCD and the retail industry would be a plus
Strong communication skills, Technology friendly approach, keeping up with current market trends required.

- Demonstrated experience in planning with ability to analyse and anticipate situations, define problems and objectives, recognize alternatives and formulate solutions.
- Excellent leadership skills and abilities to resolve diverse problems, to understand the importance of structure, organization, resource management and to complete critical tasks in a timely manner.
- To work with the Head of Commercial to help him to generate revenue. This will include engaging with major sponsors.
- Manage and approve all significant legal agreements entered into by the business
- To attend meetings with governing bodies
- Liaise with the team and stakeholders to understand their needs and to provide the resources necessary for them to compete at the highest level possible consistent with budgetary constraints.
- This job requires an ability to engage with a wide group of people including owners, fans, staff and the Board.
