F&B Service - Senior Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and ensure high-quality customer service throughout their dining experience.
  
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and serve them as per service standards.
  
• Possess thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  
• Assist in training and mentoring junior service associates and new joiners.
  
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
  
• Handle guest feedback and complaints with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area as per SOP.
  
• Ensure adherence to safety and sanitization guidelines at all times.
  
• Upsell food and beverage items to maximize revenue.
  
• Assist with billing procedures and operate POS systems efficiently.
  
• Prepare the dining area for service (mise-en-place and mise-en-scène).
  
• Participate in departmental briefings and support in conducting daily checklists and inventories.
  
• Monitor guest satisfaction and report service issues to the supervisor.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in F&B service, preferably in a hotel or fine-dining setup.
  
• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field is preferred.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Sound knowledge of food and beverage service techniques.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  
• Positive attitude, good grooming, and a guest-centric approach.
  
• Basic understanding of POS systems and billing software.
  

Desirable Skills

• Certification in wine, spirits, or food safety.
  
• Multilingual skills (added advantage).
