SAP PP and QM Consultant

Role & responsibilities

This position is an Expert Level IT professional in STL Digitals Enterprise Application Service organization.

1. Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.
2. Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
3. Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
4. Design, customize, configure and testing of SD.
5. Identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions.
6. Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve software problems.
7. Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues.
8. Document functional designs, test cases and results.
9. Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
10. Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
11. Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
12. Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
13. Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members.
14. Configuration of SAP Enterprise structure, Defining organizational elements like Sales Organizations, Distribution Channels, Divisions, Sales Office, and their assignments.
15. Preparing Functional Specifications for various custom reports, enhancements, Forms, and interfaces.
16. Performed unit testing, integration testing and regression testing of new developments.
17. Coordinating with business users for UAT and for transport movement to the Production system.
18. Set up & monitor background jobs-process chains and analyze.
19. Handson experience on MRP, BOM,ROS Capacity Planning.
20. Handson experience in Sales and Operations planning (S&OP), Long-Term Planning (LTP), Data Management (DM), Master Production Schedule/Material Requirements Planning (MPS/MRP), Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP), Shop Floor Control and information systems.
21. Quality Planning, Inspection, Control, Certificates, Notifications and Test Equipment Management
22. Should have Handled Master inspection Characteristics, VArious Inspection Methods, Quality Clearance, Quality Info Record and other QM Features.
23. Integration with MES, S&Op Platforms, Production Material Characteristic Design Tool, LMS System, etc.
24. Working knowledge of BAPI, BADI, USER EXITS related to SD & MM Module. •
25. Extended knowledge and experience on RICEF, DEBUG/ABAP
26. Integration knowledge with other modules, especially SAP MM and SAP FI/CO. •
27. EDI - IDOC's & ALE:
28. Implementation & Support - Std + Enhancements
29. Integration with: SAP products -- APO - IBP - GTS - ARIBA, etc.
30. Integration with: 3rd Party legacy System - WH Mgt Systems - SalesForce / CRM - any others
31. Work on CDS views (Master data and Transactional) for S/4HANA Embedded Operational Analytics.
32. Works with their team, project managers to plan, execute, test, pilot and rollout solutions and tools
33. Identifies & builds project teams via matrix support organizations to ensure appropriate skills & experience are represented for success.
34. Monitors project progress & status to ensure quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery.
35. Ensures compliance with standards, processes & best practices as established.
36. Collaborates with peers to create roadmaps & plans.
37. Demonstrates solutions to internal stakeholders and clients from C-level to end user with a focus on Financial and Controlling
38. Facilitate discovery sessions, design workshops (Explore), assessments, planning sessions for projects.

Experience in working as part of larger geographic teams and the ability to work in teams with different cultural backgrounds

• Must be system oriented & have an interest/ aptitude for developing skills in new applications.
• Able to Multitask and work under tight deadlines Possesses in-depth skills acquired through advanced training, study and experience and internal recognition in specialty.
• Ability to effectively lead & guide team and coordinate the activity of external stakeholders at on-site and offshore locations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise business processes with technology skills. 
• Flexibility and willingness to manage significant travel depending on time of year.
