Data Analyst Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, lead and manage data collection and analysis work plans, prepare meeting materials, and follow up on next steps
• Implement data management strategies for gathering and reporting on MGTs social impact
• Direct a team of data analysts responsible for gathering client and project metrics across the business to be used in evaluating MGT’s social impact reporting
• Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent workstreams and initiatives, and provide clarity of direction and priorities for team of data analysts to ensure on-time delivery of the most important analyses
• Develop executive-level reports, dashboards, and documents to clearly and easily communicate social impact data and metrics to responsible stakeholders
• Pressure test and review social impact data sets to ensure accuracy and quality of reporting
• Collaborate with other departments to provide assistance in maintaining existing data models across the business, including developing appropriate documentation to ensure alignment across teams

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Four (4) or more years’ experience in data research, business intelligence, statistics, or analytical research (may be combination of professional work experience and internship experience)
• Familiarity with US Census Bureau datasets (or similar population data)
• Experience in project management.
• Native-level English fluency, especially in writing technical documentation
• Ability to be available during U.S. business working hours (aligned with any U.S. mainland time zones)

• Knowledge and appreciation of business concepts, strong business writing and presentation skills, effective communication and organization skills, and an ability to synthesize and share knowledge
• Ability to develop and implement data analytics strategies
• Proven analytical, database design, and analysis skills, including the ability to translate data into actionable reports and recommendations
• Ability to adapt to dynamic nature of multiple concurrent initiatives
• Ability to navigate ambiguity comfortably and meet frequent deadlines
• Problem solver, willing to propose solutions to roadblocks that may arise rather than rely on others to solve them for you
• Prior experience with remote or distributed work teams (especially internationally)
• A sense of humor and ability to work in a dynamic environment
