Role Overview:
The Vice President - HR (Fertilizer Division) will lead the Human Resources and Industrial Relations (IR) functions for the Fertilizer Business Unit. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in HR strategy, industrial relations, organizational development (OD), and talent management, with experience in implementing new HR initiatives. The role requires a seasoned HR leader from a reputed institute and a well-established company, with expertise in managing HR operations across large-scale manufacturing units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR & Leadership - Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the Fertilizer Division's business goals.
- Partner with business leaders to drive a high-performance culture.
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and capability-building initiatives.
- Talent Management & Organizational Development (OD)
- Drive talent acquisition, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Oversee training programs to enhance workforce skills and productivity.
- Implement new HR initiatives focused on organizational development and transformation.
- Industrial Relations (IR) & Employee Relations - Manage union relationships and labor negotiations, ensuring smooth industrial operations.
- Develop proactive IR strategies to minimize labor disputes and maintain industrial harmony.
- Handle labor issues, caste dynamics, and other socio-cultural nuances effectively.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Oversee compensation & benefits strategies to attract and retain talent.
- Ensure HR policies adhere to legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Utilize HR analytics for data-driven decision-making.
Factory & Workforce Management:
- Manage HR operations for two large fertilizer manufacturing plants in Vizag and Kakinada.
- Ensure smooth factory workforce management, including labor laws, compliance, and IR.
- Lead workforce relations, dispute resolution, and engagement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: MBA/PGDM in HR from a reputed institute.
- Experience: 25+ years of HR leadership experience in manufacturing, fertilizers, or related industries.
- Skills: Strong expertise in HR, IR, OD, and talent management.
- Language Requirement: Must be fluent in Telugu.
- Competencies: Business acumen, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
