JOB Description of Sales Promoter at Metro Stores

We are looking for the candidate to do the Supreme Plastic Furniture sales promotion and attracting new customers at Metro Stores as per the location mentioned.

The successful candidate will play a important to achieving the objectives of the customer acquisition and revenue growth.

The candidate must be comfortable making dozens of product information , generating interest of the customer and convert the sales.

The sales promoters are typically given sales targets to meet, so they must work to achieve these targets.

Sales Promoter Responsibilities

• A sales promoter must provide all the needed information on promoted products and services to the customer.
• Assist customers in finding the suitable product they are looking for
• Provide advice and guidance on product selection to customers
• Build long lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest purchase options and invite them to upcoming events
• Consistently seek new product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer
• Must have in-depth knowledge about features, benefits and limitations of the product or service to present the same to the customer.
• Present products using interactive materials such as videos, charts, slideshows etc
• Arrange merchandise in the store to look tidy and attractive to customers
• Provide the necessary product photo, brochures, flyers etc
• Engage with customer and discover their needs.

• Must make sure to complete the targets assigned to them
• Sales promoters must keep records of their sales activities and report their progress to immediate manager with daily stock report , sales report in specific format.
• Place the indent for the new order planning and follow-up for the dispatch of product with immediate manager.
• Also ensure to the timely offload of the dispatched material into the stores.
• Must track sales figures, maintain customer databases, and provide feedback on customer preferences and trends.

Sales Promoter :

Bachelors Degree or Diploma in any stream.

Must be familiar with basic computers knowledge.

Preferred Location : Near by or around 4~5km Radius of below address

CTC : 2.28 Lacs / Annum

Appointment of Candidate through Third Party Agency Payroll only.

Reporting to : Store or Category Manager, Metro Store and the Immediate Manager at Supreme.

Job Hrs : Any time between 11 AM to 8 PM and this can be change in some day in week based on the stores requirement.
