Senior Chemist / Research Scientist

Role & responsibilities

• Research & Development:
  
• Design and conduct experiments to develop new products, formulations, or chemical processes.
• Analyze data using advanced analytical techniques and tools.
• Prepare technical reports, research papers, and patents.
• Laboratory Management:
  
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Develop and validate analytical methods for chemical analysis.
• Train and mentor junior staff or technicians.
• Collaboration:
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and marketing, to align research goals with business objectives.
• Partner with external research institutions or organizations for collaborative projects.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in the field of chemistry.
• Problem Solving:
  
• Address technical challenges related to chemical processes, material properties, or product performance.
• Propose and implement solutions for process improvement and cost reduction.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education:
  
• Masters or Ph.D. in Chemistry (Analytical, Organic, Inorganic, Physical, or related fields).
• Experience:
  
• At least 2 years of experience in [R&D, analytical chemistry, or relevant industry].

• Technical Skills:
  
• Proficiency in advanced analytical techniques.
• Strong understanding of chemical synthesis, formulation, or materials science.
