Job Description
Job Title: Head of Business Unit (Plant Operations)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Operations of Foundries which includes Business Development, Production, Quality, HR, Maintenance, Sales & Marketing, New Product Development, Quality Systems, Projects, Purchase and Accounts teams.
- Reviewing Foundry division performance on Daily / Weekly / Monthly basis to achieve PQCDSM targets of the plant.
- Implementing 5S and TPM in Foundry and Machine Shop as part of Manufacturing Excellence programme.
- Improving Productivity and Profitability of the plant through lean manufacturing and adopting TPM & TQM methodologies. And Improving manufacturing process and optimizing work positions to reduce the manufacturing cost through LCA (low cost automation).
- Preparing Annual Business Plan, Quarterly and Monthly Budgets & CAPEX and monitoring the expenses against Budget. And Implementing TPM in forging shops and training all manufacturing functional employees.
Requirements: Background of melt shop, core shop.
