Jr. Executive/ Executive/ Sr. Executive- Downstream Processing

Job Title: Sr. Executive / Shift In-Charge Downstream Processing

Experience Required: 5- 12 years (in API / Biotech / Fermentation-based industry preferred)\

Qualification:

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Chemistry / Biotechnology) or B.Tech. (Chemical Engineering / Biotechnology)

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently handle shift operations for downstream processing and drying areas.
• Having knowledge to troubleshoot microfiltration units, decanters, cell separators, and polishing separators to ensure consistent product quality and yield.
• Supervise and troubleshoot centrifuge, vacuum distillation, and crystallization operations as per batch requirements.
• Manage ANFD operations, ensuring proper filtration, washing, and drying cycles.
• Lead the batch execution, ensuring compliance with SOPs, BMRs, and cGMP requirements.
• Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance coordination with the engineering team.
• Monitor and control shift manpower; allocate resources as per priority tasks.
• Maintain strict adherence to EHS practices and ensure a safe work environment.
• Identify process deviations, troubleshoot operational issues, and escalate as required.
• Maintain stock of critical consumables and coordinate with stores and maintenance departments.
