Role Description:

The Sr. ABAP Consultant will provide hands-on leadership and guidance to consultants and client personnel, utilizing SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming). This role involves leading analysis and design sessions, developing ABAP solutions, managing RICEFW objects, and providing technical support to clients and consulting resources. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in SAP ABAP, particularly within S4/HANA environments, and demonstrate a proven track record of successful SAP implementations.

Responsibilities:

- Leadership & Guidance: Provide hands-on leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to junior consultants and client personnel on SAP ABAP development best practices.

- Requirements Analysis & Design: Lead analysis and design sessions to gather, define, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop client solutions.

- ABAP Development: Design, develop, code, test, and implement SAP ABAP solutions to meet client business requirements, including reports, interfaces, data conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

- S4/HANA Expertise: Demonstrate a high degree of knowledge and practical application of SAP S4/HANA, including new ABAP features and optimization techniques (e.g., CDS views, AMDP).

- RICEFW Management: Manage and lead the design, development, and delivery of customized RICEFW (Reports, Interface, Conversion, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) objects.

- Integration: Design and develop integration solutions with other SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM, PP) and external systems.

- Technical Support: Provide general technical support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving assistance to clients and internal consulting resources.

- Code Quality & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to ABAP coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization techniques. Conduct code reviews to maintain quality and knowledge sharing.

- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, development guidelines, and unit test plans.

- Project Management: Manage individual workstreams, estimate effort, track progress, and provide status updates to project managers.

- Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest SAP technologies, ABAP developments, and industry trends through continuous learning and professional development.

What Were Looking For :

- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP ABAP development, implementation, and support.

Technical Skills :

- Strong working experience in Fiori, OData services, BAPIs, and BADIs.

- Proficiency in ABAP programming, including classical ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).

- Experience with Core Data Services (CDS) views and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).

- Experience with SAP Workflow.

- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.

- S4/HANA: Demonstrable experience and a high degree of knowledge in SAP S4/HANA.

- Implementation Experience: Minimum of 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations as an ABAP developer.

- RICEFW: Strong experience in developing, testing, debugging, implementing, maintaining, and documenting ABAP code for RICEFW objects.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

- SAP Certification in ABAP development.

- Experience with SAP integration technologies (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI).

- Knowledge of SAP functional modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM, PP).

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
