Systems Plus - Senior Network Engineer - CCNP/CCIE (7-10 yrs)

SystemsPlus is hiring for Sr Network Engineer.

JOB MISSION :

The Senior Network Engineer Consultant will work as part of the clients Global Network Services to design, implement and support all network infrastructures including, but not limited to project coordination, configuring, troubleshooting and maintenance throughout the global environment.

This position is hybrid in the Pune India region.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABLITIES :

- Design and implement enterprise-wide network solutions, upgrades and changes with a strong focus on network security (implementing / managing firewalls, crafting firewall policies, developing trust zone models, building systems/apps into trust zones, handling 3rd party connectivity requests, etc.

- Serve as Tier 3 Support for network operations in corporate, retail, cloud and data center network environments.

- Support typically involves advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, provide root cause analysis and integration activities upon escalation.

- Interface with business unit and corporate stakeholders to consult and gather requirements for new projects.

- Build and communicate a well-organized project implementation plan.

- Project-manage owned projects, ensuring successful delivery with an effective amount of organization

and stakeholder communication.

- This includes but not limited to interfacing with various global stakeholders regarding projects and requirements for new tech & services.

- Provide excellent client service while evaluating enhancements and support to the global networks by making use of technical knowledge, experience, and an in-depth understanding of switching, routing, security and data flows.

- Conduct related technical analysis & planning for deployment of evolving technology solutions, leveraging architecture standards and design guides.

- Contribute to the development of such standards.

- Prepare technical solution designs and proposals, applying existing standards to meet business requirements.

- Produce simple & concise documentation around projects, implementation plans, technical drawings, project management artifacts, and operational handoffs as necessary.

- Review and updating operational documentation and technical drawings as necessary.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :

- Any combination (at least two) of University STEM degree, industry certification(s), e.

- CCNP, CCIE, CCDP, security cert, and/or cloud cert or equivalent experience.

- Network product training / certification.

- 7+ years of related experience at multi-national corporate enterprises with at least 10,000 workers and 20+ countries.

- At least 4 of those 7 years in managing projects for one or more large, complex networks.

- Experience with designing, building, and monitoring LAN, MAN, WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, Internet, VPN, WiFi, data center network environments.

- Extensive and substantial practical experience and applied knowledge of routing protocols BGP, IS-IS and OSPF.

- Extensive and substantial practical experience and applied knowledge of Spanning Tree Protocol.

- Knowledge of VXLAN fabric networks.

- Knowledge of MPLS label switching and MP-BGP routing.

- Strong understanding of current-era data center network design, both internal data centers and cloud

service provider environments.

- Experience with deploying and managing load balancers and remote access VPNs, Next Gen Firewalls.

- Experience dealing with compliance-related regulations like PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.
is preferred.

- Experience testing or implementing Network Access Control solutions.

- Network Operations/Administration experience is required and must have advanced into a Sr.
Network design role.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS :

- Layer 3 segmentation and advanced routing skills including VRF, MPLS, OSPF, BGP.

- Significant experience with Aruba Wireless Environment, Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load Balancer, Cisco routing and switching, TCP/IP.

- Demonstrable ability to break down and analyze network communications at the packet level.

- Experience with a Audio/Voice/Video integrated Network Environment including Quality of Service, SBC, SIP, AV protocols.

- Industry best practice approach to building segmented, hierarchical networks.

- Familiarity with cloud security solutions such as Prisma, Zscaler, others.

- Familiarity with SASE concepts.
