Head - Quality Assurance - Manufacturing (12-14 yrs)

Position: Quality Head.

Work Experience: Min 1214 years in Quality Assurance.

Job Location: Haridwar, Uttarakhand.

Working Days: Monday to Saturday.

Working Hours: 8:30 AM 6:30 PM.

Position Summary.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Quality Head to lead the Quality Assurance function at our Haridwar manufacturing facility.

This leadership role is critical to ensuring that our products consistently meet quality, performance, and compliance standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background, effective team leadership skills, and a deep commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities.

- Lead the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive quality assurance processes and systems.

- Ensure products meet internal and external specifications before delivery.

- Implement and sustain quality management systems like IATF 16949, ISO 14000, and other relevant standards.

- Drive a culture of quality across all units with strong SOPs, quality norms, and training programs.

- Conduct and lead quality audits, gap analysis, and internal assessments across all plants.

- Manage and reduce rejection rates across plants by heading the Rejection Control Committee.

- Handle customer complaints and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes.

- Prepare and present Monthly Quality MIS reports to senior management.

- Promote continuous improvement initiatives such as Poka-Yoke, 5S, and other QMS best practices.

- Optimize Cost of Quality (CoQ) and develop effective strategies for its reduction.

- Develop and mentor plant-level quality teams for robust execution and accountability.

Candidate Requirements.

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.

- 1214 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.

- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional quality teams.

- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (IATF 16949, ISO 14000, etc.

- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

- Ability to lead audits, root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives.

- Open for Travel Visit manufacturing facilities.
