Job Description
- The role will be based out of Pune and focus on a single purpose: Initiate new business opportunities out of the science & technologies that are being developed at the innovation center and through external collaborations.
- Own the Sales targets of the new product lines identified and deliver on customer centricity metrics
- The candidate must have the abilities to engage with scientists, scope market opportunities from the research activity of a scientist and provide insightful solution options that can lead to revenue opportunities.
- The role must support in studying every research topics that are being carried out at the innovation center, study business landscape and define strategies into possible new products/ technology commercialization opportunities.
- The candidate must have desire to join a fast paced technology absorption space to develop commercial strategies, initiate strategic alliances to promote new products, and interact with customers to develop business opportunities for the organization.
- The candidate must be part of developing the short term and long term techno commercial strategy, provide necessary market inputs, tracking competitor s activities, business environment changes and providing the necessary risk assessment. Continuous mapping and communicating the impact on business of competitor s activities (domestic as well as global).
- Development of new businesses opportunities for the company out of innovation center technologies resulting in achievement of sales targets and product wise contribution and profitability

- Must have strong business sense, ability to conceptualize, scope market opportunities and proactively develop business solutions.
- Must established industry & customer contacts for product and application development.
- Skills in contract negotiations market planning.
- Ability to connect dots to present big picture view to top management / executives.
- Must have exceptional analytical & quantitative problem solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong ability to navigate through & flexibility to absorb varied range of science & technology domains
- Self-driven, analytical, structured presentation skills & must be able to work independently
- Excellent business acumen & Customer orientation
