Senior Software Engineer/ Tech Lead

Role & responsibilities

L1 Monitoring-AWS /Microservices /Kubernetes, Job Description:
1. Learn, understand and use standard operating procedures (SOP) and tools (Grafana, Kibana, New Relic, ELK) to effectively manage the applications and systems.
2. Accurately and concisely document production support issues for subsequent root cause analysis (RCA), operational & management analysis, and reporting.
3. Work with internal team to understand existing data landscape.
4. Ability to accurately gather, analyze and interpret data, identify, define problems, and make recommendations for resolution.
5. Experience in troubleshooting and managing technical escalations immaterial of the criticality.
6. Liaison with Technical team for issues identified while working with Kubernetes and follow up on the same for a fix.
7. Ability to communicate effectively with team and other internal stakeholders across multiple geo-locations in dynamic work environment.
8. Monitor the event alerts and notify the concerned team and process the requests from the end users to level 2 and level 3 support engineers.

Required Skill Sets:
1. 6-9 years overall work experience, with at least 2 year experience in AWS cloud
2. Knowledge of monitoring tools like Grafana or Kibana, New Relic
3. Microservices based Architecture knowledge is good to have
4. Experience with Cloud environment knowledge is must, preferably AWS.
5. Hands-on experience of Jira ticketing tool and ServiceNow

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate with a good experience into Sonarqube, JIRA, Confluence, AWS, Kubernetes and QTest
