PURPOSE:
Planning and coordinating with various disciplines for ensuring smooth execution of Studies and delivery of proposals for Advisory and Consulting Services in Energy industry and associated industries.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate or Masters degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical or Mechanical) from reputed university with 10 to 15 years of experience in Engineering Management / Project Management within the framework of FEED or PMC activities in Oil & Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals, Fertilizer and Chemicals industries.
SKILLS:
Should have experience in the field of engineering and management for national and international projects, experience of technical proposal preparation for studies, proven experience of leading and managing cross-functional team, experience of client handling and developing/managing client relationship. Good communication and presentation skills with proficiency in Report writing.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. The Engineering Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with all members of the Engineering Discipline team and supporting the Study manager to facilitate smooth execution of the job within the given schedule and manhour.
2. The Engineering Coordinator is also responsible for gathering the necessary inputs required and preparation of technical proposal.
3. The Engineering Coordinator shall also ensure compliance with project/study contractual obligations, meeting Client and Company safety, quality and technical requirements within the established budget and schedule.
4. Create opportunities for engineering Colleagues to multitask and increase their skills and knowledge.
5. Should co-ordinate closely with Delivery Manager and Head of Country.
6. Liaise with other offices (within country/outside country) for execution of projects while working on projects executed through multicenter.
7. Liaise with procurement, planning, cost estimation & risk analysis team for the necessary inputs required for the study.
8. Organize and participate in various workshops with Client followed by issuing the report.
9. Participate in Genesis Community of Practice (COP) meeting as and when required.
10. Keep up to date with new developments of standards, engineering software, other digital tools, procedures and implement it to the day-to-day work.
11. Attend necessary technical and project coordination meetings
12. Should demonstrates initiative, accountability and a results-oriented approach to assigned tasks along with excellent planning and organizational skills
