Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer (6-14 yrs)

Job Title : Senior Software Engineer - QA

Location : Abu Dhabi, UAE (Onsite)

Qualification, Experience, Competence and Certifications :

- Bachelor's / master's degree in computer sciences, Information System or Computer Engineering or equivalent technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Min 8+ years of experience in developing software products and services.

- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role

- Experience in project management and QA methodology

- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus

- Ability to communicate easily with a diverse group of people.

- Must have a sound understanding of the software development lifecycle.

- Detail and project-oriented with a focus on quality and passion in the work at hand.

- SQL and dB testing experience.

- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

- Front-end testing experience.

- Working knowledge of test management software and Bug Tracking (e.g. JIRA, qTest, Zephyr/X-ray Test)

Responsibilities & Authorities :

- Should have worked on projects from scratch.

- Review and analyse system specifications and User Stories.

- Collaborate with QA and Dev Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.

- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results

- Create logs to document testing phases and defects.

- Report bugs and errors to development teams

- Help troubleshoot issues.

- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

- Ensure quality and compliance standards within the team and make sure the team follows the industry's best practices

Common responsibilities :

- Comply to C's Information security and Information service management policies, procedures, and standards.

- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of information and attend mandatory Information security training.

- Report information security incidents through C's established incident reporting channel.
