Position: Director / Associate Director Strategic Partnerships

Location: Mumbai / Delhi / Bangalore

A reputed social impact organization is seeking a dynamic Director / Associate Director Strategic Partnerships to lead its fundraising and donor engagement strategy across India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strategic alliances, developing long-term fundraising plans, and creating sustainable revenue models to support social innovation and community impact programs.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Fundraising

- Lead annual fundraising strategy and design sustainable revenue models

- Track progress, manage donor pipeline, and ensure fundraising targets are met

- Create compelling pitch decks, proposals, and donor engagement materials

Partnership Building & Client Engagement

- Cultivate strategic partnerships with corporates, foundations, and government agencies

- Work closely with internal leadership and external stakeholders to co-create scalable programs

- Build and maintain robust donor relationships to ensure long-term support

Campaigns & Visibility

- Represent the organization at donor forums, annual giving campaigns, and key industry events

- Collaborate with communications teams to develop outreach toolkits and impact stories

Team Leadership

- Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the partnerships team

- Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and high performance

Qualifications & Core Competencies

- 15+ years in fundraising, partnerships, or business development in social impact, CSR, or consulting

- Proven track record in securing high-value donations and managing P&L

- Excellent communication, proposal writing, and stakeholder management skills

- Proficient in building scalable and sustainable revenue models

- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
