Internal Fraud Risk Manager

As an Internal Fraud Risk Manager at Tide, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of a new team at Tide focusing on internal fraud. You will work closely with 1st and 2nd Line of Defence colleagues to identify, assess and mitigate internal fraud risks across a dynamic and fast-growing organisation. This role covers Tide globally, so you ll have the opportunity to work with Tideans in our various markets. You ll be reporting to the Head of Internal Fraud, working closely with stakeholders such as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the Director of Financial Crime Risk and the CISO, but you will also get exposure to many other Tideans including the Tide Executive and Senior Leadership Team.

The ideal candidate will have a background in the design and implementation of internal fraud risk management frameworks, and experience in conducting and managing complex internal fraud investigations. The candidate should have strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to collaborate at all levels across the organisation.

• Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive internal fraud risk management framework.
• Conduct internal fraud risk assessments to proactively identify, assess and mitigate fraud risks across the organisation, identifying areas for improvement and vulnerabilities.
• Work closely with leadership to design and implement strategies to prevent internal fraud, including policies and preventive controls.
• Monitor internal fraud risk across the organisation through the design and implementation of KRIs and KPIs
• Provide subject matter expertise guidance and advice to Tide on internal fraud matters, staying ahead of emerging trends and issues, in particular those impacting your own geography.
• Assist in the design and delivery of internal fraud training and awareness initiatives across Tide.
• Assist in the development of a comprehensive internal fraud monitoring programme, leveraging system logs and other data sources across Tide to identify possible indicators of internal fraud and suspicious activity.
• Conduct and manage internal fraud investigations in line with industry best practice, and provide guidance to Tide on remediation requirements to reduce the risk of recurrence.

• A minimum of 5+ years experience in internal fraud risk management and investigations.
• Subject matter expert in internal fraud.
• Relevant qualifications including Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certificate in Fraud Risk Management (CFRM), ICA Diploma in Fraud Risk Management / Financial Crime Prevention, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), accountancy qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
• Experience in working in multiple geographies.
• Passion for risk management and building the right culture and strong knowledge of fraud risk management frameworks.
• Investigation experience, including forensic investigations and knowledge of investigative techniques, and related legal and regulatory requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, both internally and externally, to build trust, and an ability to influence decision-makers and senior management.
