Reports to: Director

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Technology to lead the digital transformation journey at our client's business unit. This role requires a dynamic and strategic leader who can align technology initiatives with the company's business goals, drive innovation, and ensure seamless execution of technology solutions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap while overseeing both enterprise and business IT functions, including Enterprise Resource Management (ERM).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology Strategy & Roadmap Development:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with business objectives, focusing on scalability, operational efficiency, and innovation.

- Lead the creation and execution of a digital transformation roadmap, ensuring that technology solutions support business growth and improve operational capabilities.

2. Innovation & Emerging Technologies:

- Identify, evaluate, and implement new and emerging technologies that enhance competitive edge, particularly in areas such as data collection, analysis, visualization, and Gen AI.

- Stay informed about the latest technology trends and ensure the organization leverages cutting-edge solutions effectively.

3. Enterprise & Business IT Leadership:

- Oversee all technical aspects of the company, including software development, systems architecture, network infrastructure, analytics, and data security.

- Manage and optimize the enterprise IT and business IT functions, ensuring they are integrated and aligned with overall strategy and business processes.

4. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

- Partner with key departments such as HR, Finance, and Operations to understand their technology needs and deliver solutions that drive efficiency and support their objectives.

- Work closely with business units to integrate technology solutions into business strategies, ensuring that all departments benefit from technological advancements.

5. IT Governance, Security, and Compliance:

- Champion a culture of security within the organization, ensuring that all technology solutions comply with relevant regulations and industry best practices.

- Oversee the company's data governance, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks, ensuring that risks are managed effectively.

6. Vendor & Partner Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key technology vendors and partners, ensuring access to the best resources, tools, and services.

- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure the company gets optimal value from its technology investments.

7. Budget Management & Resource Allocation:

- Manage the IT budget effectively, ensuring that technology investments are cost-efficient and aligned with the company's financial goals.

- Allocate resources strategically to ensure smooth execution of technology projects across the organization.

8. ERM (Enterprise Resource Management):

- Oversee the implementation and management of Enterprise Resource Management systems, ensuring that all business processes are integrated, streamlined, and optimized for efficiency.

9. Stakeholder Communication:

- Communicate the technology strategy and progress of key initiatives to all stakeholders, including the executive team, board of directors, and investors.

- Ensure transparency in the execution of the digital transformation roadmap, providing regular updates and insights to senior leadership.

Key Requirements

Experience:

- 15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and implementing large-scale IT solutions.

- Strong background in software development, systems architecture, data analytics, and cybersecurity.

- Experience in managing both enterprise and business IT functions, with a focus on scalability and operational efficiency.

Skills:

- Proven ability to bridge the gap between business objectives and technology solutions.

- Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience in managing technology vendors and cross-functional teams.

- Excellent understanding of emerging technologies, including Gen AI, analytics, and data visualization tools.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present technology strategies to senior executives.

Education:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Professional certifications in IT management, enterprise architecture, or cybersecurity are a plus.

Key Competencies:

- Visionary leadership and strategic thinking

- Strong collaboration and communication skills

- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems architecture, and data governance

- Financial acumen for effective IT budget and resource management

- Hands-on experience with digital transformation and emerging technologies
