Job Description
- Act as a Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives).
- Guide and coach the Scrum team on Agile practices and principles, ensuring adherence to Agile frameworks.
- Remove impediments and blockers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with product owners to define and refine the product backlog, ensuring clarity and prioritization of user stories.
- Assist in the development of user stories, acceptance criteria, and task breakdowns.
- Leverage BSA experience to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and the development team.
- Track and report on project metrics, including team velocity, sprint progress, and release plans.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify and implement process enhancements.
- Ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
- Support the team in maintaining and updating the Scrum Board and other Agile tools.
- Capture and analyze Estimates vs. Actuals to improve future planning and estimation accuracy.
- Engage in Sprint Review and Retrospective sessions, ensuring feedback is captured and action items are addressed.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of total experience in the IT industry, with at least 5 years as a Scrum Master and 2 years in a Business Systems Analyst role.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), and best practices.
- Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, creating user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
- Proven ability to facilitate and lead Scrum ceremonies effectively.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex project environments.
- Proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and project management software.
- Certification in Agile (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM)) is a plus.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
