Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Service Engineer specializing in vacuum technologies to support our customers with the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of advanced vacuum systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge of vacuum equipment, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with engineering and customer support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Commissioning: Install and commission vacuum systems, including pumps (rotary, turbomolecular, cryo), gauges, chambers, and associated instrumentation.
• Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of vacuum equipment at customer sites or in-house.
• Technical Support: Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support to customers, remotely or on-site, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Customer Training: Train customers in the proper operation and maintenance of vacuum systems.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed service reports, documentation, and feedback for internal records and customer use.
• Collaboration: Work closely with design, engineering, and R&D teams to provide feedback from the field and support continuous product improvement.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all service activities comply with relevant safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience servicing vacuum systems or related equipment.
