Associate IT - Plant

Job Responsibilities-

• Strong understanding of networking standards, principles, protocols and services.

• Hands-on experience: Install, configure, upgrade and troubleshoot networking hardware and software, Including Layer 2 & Layer 3 Switches, Routers, Wi-Fi Access Points, Wireless controllers, Firewalls, Network Access Control Systems and Network Management Tools.

• Monitor and analyze enterprise network performance; identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.

• Collaborate with internal departments on the deployment, maintenance and optimization of network technologies.

• Work with cloud-based network environments and ensure proper connectivity and configuration. Diagnose and resolve network issues through structured analysis, testing, implementation of fixes, and thorough followup.

• Enhance the performance and resolve issues related to LAN, WLAN and SD-WAN infrastructures.

• Perform diagnostics on network devices, conduct repairs and implement backup and recovery procedures.

• Assist in planning, installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems.

• Manage compliance, network inventory, AMC contracts and device life cycle.

• Support CAPEX and OPEX forecasting for network infrastructure.

• Handle billing validation, tracking and control processes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation including network topologies, user manuals and knowledge base articles.

• Provide training and guidance to end-users and internal teams as required.

• Respond to IT support tickets and incidents in alignment with SLAs using ITSM tools. •Communicate effectively with internal teams, external vendors and stakeholders.

• Stay current with emerging network technologies and independently research and resolve technical challenges.

• Available to work during non-standard hours or late nights based on business needs.

• Proficient in the use of ERP systems, ITSM tools, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Visio.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with internal/external stakeholders.

• Experience in technical documentation, training, and user support.

• Knowledge of project management principles.

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS -

Experience: 3-5 years as an IT Infrastructure/network associate in similar industry.

Qualification : Bachelorʼs Degree in Engineering OR Computer Science OR Information Technology.

Technical Certifications : Minimum CCNA
