Software Design Engineer

Bachelors degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other related fields
A minimum of 2 years of solid Java programming experience
Proficiency in Core Java - OOPS, Multithreading, RMI
Understanding of XML, XSD
Good knowledge of Design Patterns, UML, and Swings
Basic knowledge of Serial and TCP-IP Communication
Ability to write programs fluently, strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication skills - the ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
Highly motivated and capable of multi-tasking
Able to work with minimal supervision
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Understand customer requirements, Design and develop applications for Point of Sale devices based on the requirements
Contribute in all phases of SDLC
Work with Project Architect and Technical Lead to confirm and substantiate functional and technical designs
Learn and deploy new technologies as needed
Expected to prioritize workload and meet multiple project deadlines
Accountable for meeting deadlines and deliverable quality
Follow and enforce the coding standards as established in team

Requirements - Mandatory
2-4 years of experience in IT industry
