SAP MDG Consultant - ECC Module (8-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and maintain MDG for customer and vendor master data, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

- Define and implement data governance policies and procedures.

- Manage data quality and validation rules within MDG.

- Configure workflows and approvals for master data changes.

- Configure and maintain CVI to ensure seamless integration between MDG and ECC.

- Define and implement synchronization rules for customer and vendor data.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CVI integration.

- Monitor data quality and consistency between MDG and ECC.

- Lead data migration projects from legacy systems to MDG.

- Consolidate and clean master data to improve data quality.

- Develop data migration strategies and plans.

- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through MDG and CVI.

- Design and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

- Collaborate with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for MDG and CVI.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MDG and CVI.

- Perform system upgrades and patches.

- Provide training and documentation to end-users.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in SAP MDG and ECC.

- Strong understanding of CVI and its integration with MDG.

- Experience in configuring and maintaining MDG for customer and vendor master data.

- Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience in data migration and consolidation projects.

- Knowledge of SAP ABAP or other scripting languages is a plus
