We are seeking an experienced Sr SDET/SDET Lead with hands on experience in his/her current role to oversee our quality assurance efforts and lead a team of software quality engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, as well as proven leadership skills to guide and mentor team members. As a Sr SDET, you will be responsible for developing test automation framework, testing strategies, implementing best practices, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of software quality engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.

- Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software products.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, prioritize testing efforts, and identify areas for improvement.

- Establish and maintain testing processes, standards, and best practices to streamline testing activities and improve efficiency.

- Design and execute manual and automated test cases, including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and security testing.

- Monitor and analyze test results, identify trends and patterns, and provide insights and recommendations to improve software quality.

- Manage test environments and test data, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant for testing activities.

- Coordinate with software development teams to prioritize and resolve defects, track issues to resolution, and ensure timely delivery of bug fixes.

- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 6- 10 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing role, with 2 years in lead position.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

- Hands on experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium 5+ years.

- Hands on in performance testing using JMeter 1+ years.

- Hands on in API testing with Postman 2+ years.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python 3+ years.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.

- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platform.
