Job Description

Role Overview:


We are looking for an experienced and strategic National Sales Head to spearhead the business development and market penetration of our newly launched Pan Masala brand. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, building brand presence, and leading initiatives to capture market share, with an initial focus on the Maharashtra region. The role demands a strong ability to execute targeted sales plans, manage a high-performing sales team, and expand the brand's footprint in a competitive market.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Actively explore business opportunities to increase sales volume.
  • Identify potential markets, sales channels, market-competition, customer behaviour and propose effective sales strategy plan for account expansion & development to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets & KPIs.
  • Managing all direct & indirect sales Channel.
  • Establish network among distributors & retailors to increase customers reach.
  • Analysing market trends and competitor activity which includes analysing market data and conducting market research to make informed decisions.
  • Maintain relevant sales & operations reports and present it to the management for sales forecast and marketing strategy.
  • Handle customer complaints by understanding their problems and accordingly share feedback with management for developing solutions and suggest required changes.
  • Lead a team of sales personnel and to recruit and nurture a high-performance sales team.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor/Masters degree in business administration (MBA) Marketing or related fields may be preferred.
  • 15-20 years of FMCG experience required, preferably from Mouth Freshener/Tobacco Industry.
  • Proven sales experience and knowledge, including familiarity with current trends in sales methods
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate across different levels of an organisation
  • Willingness to travel regularly to attend and host meetings and assist with general management duties.
