Senior Java Developer

Position: Senior Java Developer

Client: American Express / through Vivid Technologies

Location: Gurgaon (work from office)

**NOTE:

• Kindly don't apply for this position, if your notice period is more than 40 days.
• This position is full time with Vivid Technologies, and deployment will be at client location AMEX (American Express) in Gurgaon office, as a contractor.
• Someone with prior working experience with AMEX, will be highly preferred.

Skills & Qualifications:

Important Java Backend, Springboot, Multithreading, API, SQL

Must Have:

• Excellent work experience in software design and implementation using Java/Kotlin.
• GCP professional certification - Cloud Architect
• 1+ years experience with React, Redux, Node.js
• 3+ years experience in Java. Spring/Spring boot
• Experience in Microservices
• Hands on experience of Core Java concepts including Collection, multithreading, Java 8 features
• Hands on experience in building REST and GraphQL APIs
• Experience in RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Good to Have:

• Experience working in JavaScript and able to demonstrate good JavaScript knowledge.
• Able to demonstrate good web fundamentals & knowledge of DOM
• Experience writing adaptive and responsive UI applications
• Experience with TDD, BDD and unit testing.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment and their frameworks
• Working in an Agile or SAFe development environment is a plus
• Hands on experience of using UI Visualization library
