Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced MS Office 365 Administrator to manage and support our organization's Office 365 environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
This role involves ensuring system reliability, implementing security policies, performing user administration, and providing technical support to end-users.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and configure core Office 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, and other related services.
- Implement and maintain policies and configurations for optimal performance and security.
- Configure and manage hybrid Office 365 environments, if applicable.
- Manage and troubleshoot sharepoint online sites and permissions.
- Perform user account lifecycle management, including creation, modification, deletion, and password resets.
- Manage user licenses and permissions within the Office 365 environment.
- Configure and maintain multi-factor authentication.
- Implement and enforce security protocols and compliance policies within Office 365.
- Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents.
- Manage and configure data loss prevention (DLP) policies.
- Perform eDiscovery tasks as needed.
- Monitor Office 365 service health and performance using administrative portals and monitoring tools.
- Proactively identify and resolve system issues, providing timely technical support to end-users.
- Document and track system issues and resolutions.
- Collaborate with other IT teams (network, security, help desk) to ensure seamless integration of Office 365 with other systems and applications.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Work with vendors as needed.
- Maintain regular system updates and patching schedules.
- Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures for Office 365 data.
- Stay up to date with Microsoft's changes to the Office 365 platform.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for Office 365 configurations and procedures.
- Develop and deliver training materials and workshops for end-users.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Extensive experience in administering and configuring Office 365 services.
- Strong understanding of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for Office 365 administration.
- Proficiency in user account management and security administration.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
- Understanding of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Customer service oriented.
Experience :
- 3+ years of experience as an MS Office 365 Administrator or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with hybrid Office 365 environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune.
- Experience with Sharepoint Online development or power automate.
- Experience with conditional access policies
