Data Engineer - Google Cloud Platform (4-8 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled GCP Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, ETL processes, data warehousing, and Agile methodologies. As a GCP Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to ensure seamless data flow and efficient data management.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into our data warehouse.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop data solutions that meet business

needs.

- Build and optimize data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and storage.

- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability through data validation and cleansing techniques.

- Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive information.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to identify and resolve issues promptly.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud technologies.

- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements :

- Proficient in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Dataproc.

- Strong experience in ETL processes and tools.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture.

- Expertise in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Java.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Scrum.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

- GCP certification (e. g., Professional Data Engineer).

- Experience with data modeling and schema design.

- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.

- Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
