Java Architect - System Design (10-15 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design and architect enterprise-level applications using Java and related technologies, focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, design patterns, and best practices.

- Utilize Java, Java-J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs to build and deploy applications.

- Design and implement solutions on AWS Cloud, leveraging cloud-native services.

- Architect and design microservices-based systems, ensuring seamless integration and communication.

- Provide visual representations and designs using UML diagrams.

- Conduct research and development (R&D) on new and advanced cloud-based technologies to drive innovation.

- Design and architect systems with high scalability and performance requirements, optimizing for efficiency and resource utilization.

- Design infrastructure for performance evaluation and reporting of cloud-based services, ensuring accurate monitoring and analysis.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and operations, to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

- Effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Interface with internal and external technical resources, building strong relationships and facilitating collaboration.

- Debug complex problems, provide technical guidance, and mentor development teams.

Requirements :

Proficient in software design and development with expertise in :

- Java

- Java-J2EE

- Spring Boot

- REST API

- AWS Cloud

- Microservices architecture

Mandatory : TOGAF certification.

Desirable : UML certification.

Desirable : Certification in AWS architecture.

- Working knowledge of JVM internals.

- Working knowledge of a database (MongoDB).

- Working experience with messaging (JMS/RabbitMQ).

- Ability to provide visual representation and design using UML.

- Experience in DevOps practices and tools is highly desirable.

- Experience in designing and architecting systems with high scalability and performance requirements.

- Ability to design infrastructure for performance evaluation and reporting of cloud-based services.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- The ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.

- Skilled in interfacing with internal and external technical resources.

- Good at debugging problems and mentoring teams on the technical front.
