Automation Tester - Application Testing (5-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement automated test frameworks and test scripts using C#.

- Utilize SpecFlow to implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) testing practices.

- Write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for various software applications and systems.

- Work with Selenium WebDriver to automate web application testing.

- Employ NUnit or xUnit for test execution, reporting, and management.

- Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and design effective test strategies.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in test automation.

- Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to test automation.

Requirements :

- Strong hands-on experience in C# Automation.

- Proficiency with SpecFlow for BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) testing.

- Proven experience in writing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts.

- Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.

- Experience with NUnit or xUnit for test execution and reporting.

- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.

- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other test automation tools or frameworks.

- Knowledge of performance testing or security testing.

- Experience with cloud-based testing.

- Contributions to open-source testing projects
