Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and delivery performance.

- Analyze market trends and anticipate potential challenges and opportunities in the supply chain.

- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and reduce waste.

- Evaluate and select appropriate technology solutions to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency.

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers.

- Negotiate contracts and build strong, long-term relationships with vendors.

- Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery schedules.

- Manage supplier risk and develop contingency plans.

- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop accurate demand forecasts.

- Analyze historical data and market trends to predict future demand.

- Ensure alignment between demand and supply plans.

- Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures.

- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to minimize holding costs and prevent stockouts.

- Ensure compliance with relevant shipping regulations.

- Collaborate closely with procurement, production, sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

- Track key supply chain metrics (KPIs) and analyze performance data.

- Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Implement corrective actions to address performance gaps.

- Identify and assess potential risks within the supply chain.

Qualifications:

Experience:

- 4-8 years of progressive experience in supply chain management roles.

- Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing supply chain operations.

- Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management software.

- Knowledge of lean and six sigma principles.
