Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
• Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
• Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
• Drive solutions to reduce recovery
• Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
• Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
• Design complex system upgrades
• Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
• Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
• Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications :

• 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 3+ years of Ansible Packaging experience
• 3+ years of scripting and/or automation experience
• 3+ years experience with IaC: Yaml, powershell both linux and windows
• 5+ years of Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
• 3+ years experience with SDLC tools: Jfrog , GitHub
• 3+ years experience with IDE: Visual Studio , Eclipse
• 3+ years experience in Python development
• 3+ years experience in Agile methodologies and toolset.

Desired Qualifications:

• Languages: Python, yaml, PowerShell and integrating with API's
• Advanced scripting skills specifically around automation
• Expert knowledge and understanding of technologies related to infrastructure engineering.
• Ability to help remediate tough technical support issues.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of team on multiple overlapping projects.
• Ability to operate effectively in a geographically dispersed organization.
• Customer focused, service-oriented attitude.
• Proven skills analyzing and trouble-shooting complex systems configurations.
• Product Management and Scrum framework experience
• Jira and Confluence experience
• Experience with external key management.
• Risk management and mitigation experience
• Expert knowledge and understanding of technologies like ServiceNow and observability tools is a plus.
