- We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join our team as the Head of Human Resources. This key role will be responsible for shaping and executing our firm's human resources strategy and driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, development, and overall well-being.
- The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in HR leadership, strong people management skills, HR systems implementation and a deep understanding of HR best practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience 12-14 years in progressively responsible HR leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory compliance. Having a system and process implementation experience is a must.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, organizational development, and change management.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems for data management and reporting.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing HR team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR strategy and leadership:
- Develop and lead the implementation of a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the organization's goals, values and growth.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to executive leadership on HR-related matters, including talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development.
Workforce planning and design:
- Collaborate with department leaders and executives to understand organizational goals and objectives.
- Analyze current employee organization and identify opportunities for improvement in terms of structure, roles, and responsibilities.
- Develop and implement workforce planning strategies that align with the company's strategic direction.
- Conduct thorough job analysis to define and refine job roles, responsibilities, and qualifications.
Organizational development:
- Design and facilitate organizational development initiatives to enhance teamwork, collaboration, and communication.
- Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
- Implement effective change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during organizational changes.
Succession planning:
- Identify high-potential employees and create comprehensive succession plans to ensure a pipeline of future leaders.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop targeted development programs and training opportunities for potential successors.
Talent acquisition and management:
Oversee the full spectrum of talent acquisition activities, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding of top-tier candidates.
Employee engagement and culture:
- Drive initiatives that create a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work culture.
- Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement, well-being, and work life balance.
Learning and development:
- Develop and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and capabilities.
- Foster a learning culture that encourages continuous professional development.
Employee relations and conflict resolution:
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees in handling employee relations matters.
- Resolve conflicts and employee grievances in a fair and effective manner.
Data analysis and reporting
- Utilize HCM analytics to drive data-driven decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HCM programs.
- Generate regular reports on key HCM metrics and trends for senior leadership.
Coaching:
- Tailor or conduct coaching for senior leaders to support their leadership skills development. Assign dedicated coaches for these activities.
- Conduct group-based employee level coaching with a focus on teaching teams to collaborate effectively. Hire experts to conduct sessions which emphasize strengthening communication skills, reducing conflict, and improving working relationships.
- Train current HR team members to take up larger chunks of the HR pie.
