Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot/Hibernate (5-10 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot and related Java technologies to join our dynamic development team.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications and services.

The role demands deep understanding of software design principles, the ability to analyze user requirements, and excellent programming skills to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate frameworks.

- Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications and detailed design documents.

- Develop and implement new features and enhancements in existing Java applications.

- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best coding practices and design patterns.

- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

- Develop multimedia applications and integrate them within Java-based systems when required.

- Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development with advanced knowledge of Java 8+ features.

- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA for building scalable web applications.

- Solid understanding of RESTful web services and API development.

- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (Angular/React) is a plus.

- Knowledge of build tools such as Maven or Gradle, and version control systems like Git.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.

- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
