Title : Lead Software QA Engineer (Night Shift)

Location : Pune

Salary : Up to 25LPA

Work Mode : Hybrid (2 Days in a week from office is mandatory)

Shift Timings : 5 : 30PM-2 : 30AM

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Ability to Lead testing activities across multiple PODs. Act as a key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases of the PODs, guide,mentor and coordinate QA team members accordingly.

- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure business requirement completeness

- Ability to understand the holistic requirements(functional and non functional), review and analyze stories, specifications, and technical design documents and develop detailed test cases and test data to ensure business functionality is thoroughly tested - Automation & Manual.

- Be a Leader - building and leading the test team for successful delivery.

- Be proactive and follow Shift-left testing approach in identifying the issues early and following up on them efficiently

- Support quality assurance initiatives and help institutionalize best practices

- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to understand system functionality including inputs, processing and outputs

- Participate in AGILE and End-to-end ownership of testing - defining the scope of test, estimation, strategy and defect reporting

- Maturity to consider cross-functional feedback during the design phase.

- Hands-on with test preparation, scripting, and execution in the Agile and DevOps environment

- Ensure maximum feasible automation coverage after each sprint.

- Preparation, scripting, review and update of test cases and relevant test data consistent with system requirements including functional, integration & regression

- Open to learn from each other in the team and each experience day-to-day

- Develop test plan/strategies, test cases and relevant test data consistent with system requirements including integration, regression, performance and usability. Review and update test plan/cases to ensure acceptable test coverage

- Record & report testing status at various release cycle milestones

- Identify and document system deficiencies and recommend solutions

- Support quality assurance initiatives and help institutionalize best practices

- Experience in execution on automation frameworks, scripting and maintenance is preferred.

Requirements :

- Lead QA teams across multiple pods for manual and automated testing.

- 5+ years of strong expertise in Test requirement understanding, test data, test plan & test case designing.

- Develop detailed test cases and test data to ensure business functionality is thoroughly tested - Automation & Manual

- Strong Experience in writing DB queries (preferably in postgres/ Snowflake/ MySQL/ RDS)

- 5+ years of strong work experience in UI and API testing.

- Any experience with AWS/Cloud hosted applications is an added advantage.

- Experienced working with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban

- Key competencies required : Problem-Solving, Analytical, Collaboration, and Accountability. Strong communication skills.

- Should have experience with automation execution on frameworks with Selenium web-driver (v3+) and Request/RestAssured, with programming experience in Python (MUST)

- Knowledge of automation frameworks in BDD - Gherkin and Behave/Cucumber, Pytest.

- Experienced in Performance testing basics will be preferred.
