We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Quick Commerce Head to lead this new initiative. This role involves identifying and onboarding quick commerce partners, developing supply chain solutions, optimizing inventory placement, and ensuring seamless execution. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in e- commerce partnerships, last- mile logistics, and high- velocity product distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Business Development:
- Develop and execute the quick commerce strategy for Company's book distribution.
- Identify and establish partnerships with Zepto, BlinkIt, Meesho, Swiggy Instamart, Dunzo, Amazon Fresh, and similar platforms.
- Define growth targets and revenue plans for quick commerce sales.
Partnerships & Alliances:
- Lead negotiations with quick commerce platforms to onboard and optimize company's book catalog.
- Develop customized catalog and pricing models for different platforms.
- Work with publishers and internal stakeholders to ensure the right selection of books is available for instant delivery.
Supply Chain & Operations:
- Optimize book inventory placement across dark stores, warehouses, and partner fulfillment centers.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and in- house teams to ensure real- time stock availability.
- Implement demand forecasting and replenishment models for high- velocity SKUs.
Marketing & Sales Optimization:
- Develop campaigns, promotions, and discounts tailored for quick commerce audiences.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to drive visibility on partner platforms.
- Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, and customer insights to refine strategies.
Technology & Integration:
- Work with tech teams to seamlessly integrate company's book catalog with partner APIs.
- Ensure proper inventory syncing and order fulfillment capabilities.
- Leverage data analytics for demand forecasting and operational efficiencies.
Key Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in e-commerce, quick commerce, last- mile logistics, or retail distribution.
- Strong network and experience working with Zepto, BlinkIt, Meesho, Swiggy Instamart, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to launch new business channels, negotiate partnerships, and drive revenue growth.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with demand planning and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in publishing, FMCG, or high- turnover consumer products is a plus
