ZopSmart - Senior Software Development Engineer - DevOps (6-9 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust IaC solutions using Terraform across various cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure preferred).

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployments using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.

- Implement best practices for infrastructure security and compliance.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and identify performance bottlenecks.

- Collaborate closely with developers and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.

- Mentor junior engineers in DevOps practices and guide them on best practices.

- Lead initiatives to improve the DevOps workflow and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps technologies and trends.

Skills & Qualifications :

- 6-9 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on DevOps principles and methodologies.

- Extensive experience with Terraform and its configuration language (HCL, JSON).

- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure preferred) is a plus.

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Experience with infrastructure security and compliance (IAM, secrets management) is a plus.

- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.)

- Proven experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

- Leadership experience in mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative DevOps culture.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

- Experience with API integration and automation tools.

- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code best practices
