Head - Public Relation & Corporate Communication
Key Responsibilities:
Public Relations & Corporate Communications:
- Develop and implement an integrated public relations strategy to promote the company's products, values, and vision to both gaming communities and a broader audience.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and key stakeholders.
- Craft press releases, media kits, and communication materials that align with the company's tone, style, and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging across all communication channels, including press releases, interviews, and social media.
- Manage executive communications, which include speechwriting, public appearances, and thought leadership content.
Reputation Management:
- Lead crisis communication strategies to mitigate risks, address sensitive issues, and protect the company's reputation during critical moments.
- Serve as the primary spokesperson during crisis situations, ensuring clear, effective, and transparent messaging to the media, stakeholders, and the public.
- Develop proactive crisis communication plans and provide media training for key company spokespersons.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):
- Drive the development and execution of the company's CSR initiatives, aligning them with corporate values and contributing to a positive social impact.
- Collaborate with external partners, nonprofits, and stakeholders to ensure the company meets its CSR goals and effectively communicates its efforts.
- Monitor and report on the impact of CSR initiatives to enhance the company's image as a responsible and socially conscious brand.
Brand Communications & Public Affairs:
- Lead brand communications and public affairs efforts to shape and protect the company's image in the marketplace.
- Develop and nurture relationships with policymakers, regulatory bodies, and industry organizations to promote favorable outcomes for the gaming industry and the company.
- Anticipate, monitor, and manage external factors, such as regulatory developments, that may impact the company and the industry.
- Advocate for the company's positions on key public policy issues to ensure its voice is heard in the gaming industry.
Leadership Collaboration:
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, legal, and other departments to ensure cohesive communication strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Over 15 years of experience in public relations and corporate communications, with a strong focus on crisis management and CSR, ideally in the tech, gaming, or entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful public relations and communication strategies.
- Exceptional crisis management experience, with the ability to navigate complex situations and protect brand reputation.
- Strong media relations skills and a robust network of industry contacts.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with a keen understanding of branding and storytelling.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and lead a high-performing team.
