From Resume to Cover Letter Using AI and LLM, with Python and Streamlit
- The job market has become technology-driven as companies move to online recruitment employing software such as LinkedIn and Indeed. Artificial intelligence (AI-powered) tools provide software and plug-ins that tailor resumes for specific companies and extend to cover letters. Ideas have been proposed by several writers to create one's resume assistant using Large Language Models (LLMs). A simple guided way of creating tools for this purpose is displayed and involves making use of pre-existing APIs from GPT-3. The CV and job description are passed through a JSON file containing LLM prompts that are inputted onto the backend UI (a few simple clicks), with an output of your constructed cover letter.

The Large Language models are specific AI models responsible for producing text, including AI tools and plug-ins that tailor resumes for a specific company. AI assistants use an API to communicate with AI LLM tools and create the desired output.
