Mebelkart

Mebelkart is an online retail portal selling over 50,000 furniture and home decor products from more than 1000 manufacturers across India. Users can browse through various categories of products on the portal and buy online to get them home delivered. The company claims to have tie-ups with over 200 suppliers spread across India and abroad. Currently it offers products in categories like beanbags, chairs and recliners, home furniture, baby and kids, bed and bath, decor and sports furniture. It also offers a mobile based augmented reality app called Funterior that allows consumers to get look and feel of furniture & home decor items in their home space. Local search platform Askme has promised to invest $20 million in MebelKart over the next three quarters (as of Aug 2015) in return for a majority stake in the company which would be in excess of about 75%. Ventured into ultra luxury segment targeting HNIs via partnership with Continental Group.
