In 2016, Reliance forged a joint venture with Neeraj Pandey by the name of Plan C Studios. Plan C Studios launched its first production, Rustom. Incorporated in 2016, Rohit Shetty Picturez LPP is a Reliance joint venture with film director, producer, and television personality Rohit Shetty. Y Not Studios is a joint venture between Producer S. Sashikanth and Reliance Entertainment. In 2017, Reliance Entertainment joined Global Cinemas LLP as an equity partner with a focus to expand the theatrical distribution business into the Southern Indian markets like Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Kerala. Reliance Home Video & Merchandising is the leading player in the Indian Home Entertainment industry & also a key player in the Toys & Games licensing and merchandising industry.
