Promotions cycle, promotion nominee or promotion requirements has no transparency. I have been nominated 4 times for promotion also at one certain time i even had rating of 5/5 in the yearly appraisal, Still failed to get promoted and there was no justification why it got failed. In 3.5 years of my service i received hike only once and that to 3-4% when i had 5/5 rating in my yearly appraisal.

There is no work that one likes in Wipro and not just the management but even the higher management and authority do wrong with every employee there and play with their emotions. Wipro is just a brand by name. I have worked in Wipro for 2 years but there the employees and their work are not given any value. Moreover they treat them as if the employees are not Wipro's but their personal ones and you can ask them anything by citing Wipro policy. The more I speak the less it will be, how wrong it is with Wipro employees. In the name of Wipro policy the employees have been made bonded labour and this policy is applicable only on employees, if someone is designated then there is no policy for him. The funny thing is that the upper and lower managements in Wipro make the employees do work like labourers but not even a single day in a year does one get a labour day off whereas apart from Wipro it is available in every company. When there is high volume of work then the work is done by calling for mandatory overtime, whether you wish it or not, but not even once in a year does it give bonus during bankruptcy, this is such a big company. It is better to work in a small company where whether you get anything or not, at least the employee is considered an employee. The employee definitely works in your company but he too is a human being like you. He should also get as much freedom as you get. And the worst thing I found is that if something wrong is happening and an employee is highlighting it then instead of stopping that wrong, that employee is stopped. It does not matter to anybody who works there and how, we have just opened the company and work has to be done, otherwise someone else may work hard or work with great difficulty, they totally don't care about it. I just have one request to the CEO and upper managements of the company that it should not happen tomorrow that employees start joining your company just for one year experience, before that you should stop this wrong thing that is happening. You may make the employee work for a lesser salary, you may not give him any bonus but at least treat the employees like proper human beings rather than employees. Shouldn't there be such a policy in which the employee also gets benefits along with the company. Every company gives money but the employee and his work is valued only in a reputed company. It is mandatory to have profit in business but the company which only looks after the benefits of its own company only runs but the company which also gives benefits to its employees along with itself, that company keeps running till the end. At the end of the day your company is for the employees and not the employees for your company. Even if it was not your company, all the employees in Wipro would be working somewhere or the other, there are so many multinational companies in India.
