We’ve all heard it: “You can always talk to HR. We’re here for you.”
But let’s be honest — how many of us actually believe that?

When things get messy — manager issues, mental health struggles, burnout, unfair treatment — most people I know hesitate to speak up. Not because they don’t want to, but because deep down, they feel HR will play it safe… not fair.

I’ve seen folks muster the courage to open up, only to be told to “adjust” or “take it offline.” Some even got labeled as “difficult” after raising valid concerns. And in the end, nothing changed — except their trust.

Hi All, i am working in a PE firm and earning close to 20LPA. How to get a salary of 40LPA from my domain. Where and in which company should i apply?

Hello guys,

I am a Data Engineer with 3 yoe.
Current CTC - 14 LPA
10.8 - Fixed
1.2 - Variable
2 - Retention bonus (Till October)

I have been looking for a better opportunity and I recently got an offer from a company with the CTC of 16LPA - 15 +1 variable. 
If I leave my current company I will have to pay 2 lakh back which I dont have honestly and the other company is not willing to pay for it. They agreed to buy out my notice period though. 
I also know that my current company won’t be able to match this CTC.

Also, I want to know is this offer worth going for?

Since January, I have got like 40+ calls but as soon as they listen to my notice period they hang up. I gave interviews for 10 companies got 1 offer, got rejected by 3 and got ghosted by 6 after the interview process.
Now, I really want to make a switch and get an offer within a range of 18-20 LPA. I have good problem solving skills and communication though. Can I get this much hike based on my yoe?

I'm honestly so frustrated with how things are going in Indian corporate life right now. Feels like we’re just becoming a cheaper version of the US, doing whatever foreign companies want, without any control.

I’m being laid off again.... third time now. The job I have isn’t even something I enjoy I just took it to keep the money coming in.

Work culture here is terrible. There’s so much office politics, boring projects, and endless meetings or scrum calls where nothing meaningful happens. Most of the work is just filling out Word docs and Excel sheets not actual development.

I used to love computers, coding, and building things. But now, corporate life has completely drained that passion. And I’ve been in this field for 16 years

Just needed to get this off my chest. Thanks for listening.
