Hi Guys, I have an interview invite for Infosys for Long term to Hire( contract to Hire for 1 year). I am going ahead and attending it. 
Just wanted to know if it is ok to join ?

Is it okay to join Long term to hire in Infosys??

I spent 4 years getting an engineering degree. Then 3 more years building “corporate experience.”
Learned Python, Java, debugged more issues than I’ve had hot meals.

And guess what I earn?🥲

25K a month.
Yes, a whole 25,000 shiny rupees to be a glorified Google searcher who knows how to “fix backend issues.”

Meanwhile, YouTubers making “A Day in My Life” vlogs with 3 cuts and a cringe transition are pulling in lakhs per month. Just because they can say “Hi guys, welcome back to my channel ☕.”

Did I choose the wrong career? Or the wrong country? Or the wrong life?
(Asking for a broke, overworked friend. And for myself.)

Does tech even pay in India anymore? Or is entertainment the only profitable industry left?

I walked out of an interview today. This was my third interview with the company. Interviewer goes on to mention there's a fourth interview with the manager and I said nope. I stood up, and said "you've met me 3 times already and should know if you want to hire me at this point. I am not doing a 4th interview." She was shocked. I wish I took a picture of the look on her face. She kept saying, "but I really like you." And, "no one's ever done this before." Nope, don't care.

I’ve noticed this happening more and more in my company and even in some big names where Gen Z employees just leave without any prior notice. Not even serving the notice period… sometimes not even officially resigning. Just disappearing.

And honestly, as millennials, we still feel guilty just writing the resignation email. So when we hear someone say “maza nahi aa raha” and leave without any process, it really makes us pause.

If you think HR doesn’t keep track of this, or it won’t matter later please know that it can affect future opportunities.

Leaving a job is totally okay. But leaving professionally and respectfully? That matters too. 

Let’s not burn bridges before we even cross them.

Yep the former UK Prime Minister. He’s now making headlines again, but this time not in politics.

He’s joining Goldman Sachs as a senior advisor the same company he once worked at 21 years ago!

What will he do now?

Basically, he’ll be helping clients understand big-picture stuff like geopolitical risks, global economy trends, and will also be interacting with people and leaders around the world.

It’s like he's going back to his finance roots but with a lot more experience this time.

I’ve noticed this pattern more than once.
The more successful a man is at work, the more distant he becomes emotionally.

My last partner had a great job at a top finance firm. Big salary. Fancy LinkedIn profile. But when it came to feelings? It felt like I was dating someone who just wasn’t there.

And honestly, I don’t care how much money someone makes if they can’t even have a simple, honest conversation.
That’s not ambition, that’s emotional neglect in a suit.

So I’m wondering does growing in your career implies you have to stop showing emotions?
Or is this the "New Normal" now.
