True, it really does feel unfair sometimes. But from a faith perspective, this life isn’t meant to be perfectly fair. It’s a test, and not everyone gets the same paper. Some get fame and money, others get struggle and unseen effort. But what actually counts is how we handle our share.
We’re not here just to collect hikes or cars, we’re here to grow through what we face. And while it’s okay to feel tired or frustrated, it helps to look at those who have even less, and find peace in knowing that our patience, integrity, and effort are still worth something. maybe not always here, but definitely in the bigger picture.
Shift the focus from comparing to appreciating, not easy but it helps.

u are right not everyone gets the same paper, and maybe the goal isn’t fairness but growth.
That said, I won’t lie… some days it’s still hard to not feel a little disheartened. especially when the effort feels invisible and the rewards don’t match.

@bounteoussoybean it’s not really about comparison or complaining for the sake of it.
It’s just that when you’re putting in consistent effort, working long hours, upskilling, doing everything and still barely moving forward that gap feels frustrating sometimes.
It’s not that we don’t want to work hard — we already are.
But when effort doesn’t meet outcome, it’s natural to pause and ask why. doesn’t mean we don’t value what we have just means we feel stuck in that moment.

[human1](username) I mean, yeah, I can’t do all those things just to become famous and I don’t even want to. But that’s not what I’m talking about here.
I’m talking about the lifestyle difference the effort reward gap.
Like if people think actors have it easy or don't “deserve” that kind of money then why do millions worship them? Why does the whole country go crazy when Shah Rukh just waves from Mannat’s balcony? Clearly, it’s not just about the work… we’ve made them larger than life.
We don’t give that kind of love to a coder who’s debugging at 3 AM, or a nurse pulling 12-hour shifts. So is the system unfair? Yeah. But did we all play a part in making it this way? Also yeah.
Not blaming celebs they’re doing their job. But all I’m saying is, we break ourselves over reviews and OKRs… and then see someone gifted a 5 Cr car for showing up at a party. Toh thoda logic hilta toh hai 😅

Nothing in life is fair!! These comparisons need to stop.
People who have generational wealth was earned over generations!!! In Jahnvi's case, her entire family is involved in bollywood and probably the 3rd generation.
If you are worried about 5 % hike, its probably because your father was also worried about 5% hike and probably grand father too. (Not trying to demean any one) but in essence it takes one generation of family to deprioritise everything else and go for ambitious goals.
If it is bothering you so much, do it for your kids. Otherwise just chill. Everyone else feels the same

@rajakamuni honestly, there’s a lot of truth here. generational wealth does take generations to build.
And yeah, Jahnvi’s family being in bollywood for decades means they’ve been playing this game way before we even entered the stadium. Koi shortcut nahi tha for them either just a different starting line.
That said… sometimes it’s not even jealousy.
It’s exhaustion. Like you know you're doing okay working hard, staying consistent and still, that 5% hike after 365 days of showing up feels... underwhelming. Especially when the goalpost keeps shifting higher costs, tighter appraisals, and still the same “you need to take more ownership” talk
But you're right if this bothers us so much, maybe it’s our turn to change that cycle for the next generation.
Till then… chill karte hain, meme banate hain, aur EMI time pe bharte hain
